Cool! We were selected as one of the 14 companies (out of 650 scouted maritime startups) for the Rainmaking Trade and Transport Impact program
Rainmaking Innovation, a corporate innovation and venture development firm, and MacGregor (part of the Cargotec group) has selected the Finnish maritime IT-startup nauticAi as one of the 11 companies for the Trade and Transport Impact program. The program aims to bring together the most innovative and interesting MarineTech companies with corporate partners Wärtsilä, Inmarsat and Cargotec.
“Industry collaboration is key to addressing the big challenges faced by the logistics and maritime industry. For far too many it remains a buzzword, unless we take real action. It is with this in mind we designed the trade & transport impact program to help corporate partners like Wärtsilä, Inmarsat and Cargotec find and engage with great disruptive startups to explore ways for improving efficiency, sustainability and safety across the industry. nauticAi was selected as 1 out of only 14 finalists from a field of 650 exciting MarineTech companies from 55 countries globally, that all will convene in Hamburg this week to pursue collaborative opportunities for driving real impact and moving the needle in a notoriously conservative industry”, said Erik Christian Lund, Managing Director, Trade & Transport Impact at Rainmaking Innovation on announcing the finalists.
“We are absolutely delighted to have been selected for the final round of this program and we look forward to bringing our marine innovations to the big corporate tables. We believe that our knowledge and experience in working with innovative IoT and data-driven maritime solutions brings value to these companies, which all are industry leaders in their respective fields”, says Capt. Henrik Ramm-Schmidt, CEO and Co-founder of nauticAi.
Founded in 2018, nauticAi is the new SaaS-brand from the founders of Finland’s leading maritime IT-startup Fleetrange. nauticAi specializes in Intelligent Maritime Awareness solutions for shipping operators.
